Golden Oldies
Golden Oldies community care project provides a warm and friendly environment where older people can come together socialize and enjoy the wide range of activities. The Golden Oldies Community Care Project provides a high standard of community care and support for older people in London. With our support we aim to assist older people to maintain healthy lifestyle, promoting dignity and independent living in later years. It runs the Thursday Goldelicious Cafe project, and additionally offers support with advocacy, healthcare and getting active.
Our objective is to ensure we provide an all-inclusive and comprehensive day care service for older people. We have specialised services which cater to the needs of the Afro-Caribbean community, however we do welcome older people from all ethnicities. We wish to ensure that older people that are in need of assistance are aware of Golden Oldies and feel able to seek our care and assistance when required. The working practice we have established places a firm focus on equality, choice, and privacy.
