The Haven (South London)

The Haven (South London)

The Havens are specialist centres in London for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted. We’re here to help you if you have been raped or sexually assaulted in the past 12 months. You can call us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for an initial assessment. When we need to see you urgently, such as for a forensic medical examination (FME), we aim to see you within 90 minutes. We also offer follow-up care, including counselling, tests and treatments. Our medical and emotional support services are confidential. That means we will not tell anyone you have contacted or come to see us unless you want us to. And you can use any of our services without involving the police. If you were assaulted more than 12 months ago, we can provide you with information on other organisations that can help.

It doesn’t matter who you are, your age, your gender or your sexual orientation: we see anyone in London who has been raped or sexually assaulted in the past 12 months.
You can talk through your options and make an appointment to see us at one of our centres. And you don’t have to be referred – it’s up to you if you want to see us. But it’s ok if you want to ask someone else to phone for you. It helps if we can speak to you, though. If you need to be seen urgently, we aim to see you within 90 minutes of you contacting us.
