Our World Mental Health Day 2025 coverage
For World Mental Health Day 2025 at Together we continued to focus on our theme of physical wellbeing and looking at how it can impact and interplay with mental health. We explored this theme through both the people who our services, and our staff and volunteers, concentrating on how people can be supported with their physical wellbeing in many different and individual ways.

Residents of Elva Court on attending the gym together to benefit physical and mental health
The culmination of our coverage for World Mental Health Day around our theme of Physical Wellbeing and how that interplays with mental health features residents from our Elva Court Accommodation Service who have been attending a local gym together over the past year. Four people who use the service shared lived experience with us about how they have found attending the gym with their peers and how that physical activity has impacted their mental wellbeing.

Norfolk walking group participants share lived experience on benefits to mental & physical wellbeing
Today is World Mental Health Day and we're continuing exploring our theme of physical wellbeing we hear from people supported by our Norfolk Integrated Housing and Community Support Service (NIHCSS) on a volunteer led walking group they take part in. The group has been running since 2022, led by a variety of peer volunteers with support from paid staff.
