Who we support and memberships

Together is a provider of mental health services and our primary focus is on the people who use those and working alongside them on their journey towards better mental wellbeing and independent lives. As a charity we don't campaign ourselves but we do influence and inform through the campaigns of others we support and the associations we are members of.

Who we support and memberships

On this page you can find campaigns that Together supports and associations we are members of. As a charity whenever we work with other organisations in the mental health sector we emphasise our core principle of Service User Leadership and represent the lived experiences of the people who use our services.

Together is a member of the following organisations:

The National Suicide Prevention Alliance is an alliance of over 1,700 individuals and public, private, voluntary and community organisations in England who care about suicide prevention and are willing to take action to reduce suicide and support those affected by suicide.

Association of Mental Health Providers is the national voice of mental health charities providing services in England and Wales. A registered charity, we represent our membership of small, medium and large service providers – from locally focused to regional and national organisations with the purpose of providing a professional platform on which the vital work of all our members can be seen and heard.

NCVO is the membership community for charities, voluntary organisations and community groups in England. Together we champion voluntary action.

ACEVO is the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations. ACEVO was formed in 1987 and together with our network we inspire and support civil society leaders through connection, skills and influence. Our members include the leaders of small, community based groups, ambitious medium-sized organisations, and well known, well-loved national and international not-for-profits

The Mental Health Network represents providers from across the statutory, independent and third sectors. We work with government, regulators, opinion formers, media and the wider NHS to promote excellence in mental health services and the importance of good mental health.

Equally Well UK is an initiative from New Zealand which seeks to promote and support collaborative action to improve physical health among people with a mental illness. It is hosted in the UK by Centre for Mental Health in partnership with Rethink Mental Illness, the Chair of the Clinical Group and Chair and Vice Chair of the Expert by Experience group along with our growing membership.
