This year, Pride in London launched the new campaign, ‘Never March Alone’, to offer solidarity and allyship to trans and non-binary people, seeking to amplify their voices in our communities and wider society.
Dancing along to a cacophony of drumming and deafening whistles, it was joyful, energising and full of laughter. Thousands lined the streets, and in a world where division, civil unrest and hostility is a feature of our daily lives, London, on Saturday, represented why diversity, acceptance and belonging matters.
It is what knits the fabric of society together, it is what makes me a better person, it is what makes us a better organisation.
