Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.
Norfolk Road is an 11-bed, CQC-registered accommodation service supporting people with mental health problems.
We are currently looking for an inspiring individual with experience of working alongside people with mental health issues on their journey towards greater wellbeing and independence.
The role involves providing direct support with all aspects of daily living, administering medication, recording and reporting and supporting the team in meeting its organisational and legislative requirements.
As a Relief Worker, you’ll be working under a Zero Hours contract agreement, providing cover when permanent staff are on leave. You are under no obligation to accept work offered to you, nor are Together obliged to offer you any set work pattern.
The role may include the offer of weekend work and sleep in shifts, for which a sleep-in allowance is paid in addition to normal rate.
We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
