SLaM Adolescent Service (Southwark)

SLaM’s Adolescent Service provides a Tier 3 child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS). They assess, treat and care for children and young people, aged 12-18, who have complex mental health problems and who live in the London Borough of Southwark.

Tier 3 CAMHS are provided by a team of specialists in a community mental health clinic or a hospital outpatients clinic. This level of service is for children and young people with severe and complex problems, which they have had for some time.
The Adolescent Service visit people at their base in the Maudsley, their school or home. We work with the Youth Offending Team (YOT), a drug and alcohol worker and a member of the Southwark Team for Early Intervention in Psychosis (STEP).
