The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

We are looking to expand our workforce by recruiting 4 support workers to join our Floating Housing Related support team. You will be part of a small team, working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.

You will work across Warwickshire, so access to a car is essential. You will have your own caseload of clients and will work autonomously, identifying people’s goals completing assessments and risk management meetings.

By working alongside people with disabilities your work will be vital in helping people to manage and sustain their tenancies, prevent and relieve homelessness, deal with debt, benefit issues and promote independence.

You will support the most vulnerable people in our community who experience mental ill-health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairment and autism. Experience of all areas is not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

It is an exciting time in Warwickshire as we plan and develop our service for the future and explore new models of support. We are looking for candidates with the energy to match our ambition to help people maintain good quality housing so that they can lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
