Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.
We are looking for recovery workers to join our friendly team at Rumbridge Court in Totton. The service works with 11 service users with complex mental health needs and supports the individuals towards greater independence, by providing one to one support as well as group activities, following a daily programme for each person. We are looking for an enthusiastic individuals who can work well independently and as part of the team and who can complement and strengthen our current staffing structure.
The service offers holistic support to the individuals living there and it will give you as staff member opportunities to work with and liaise with other agencies and professionals, lead on activities on offer at the service and externally, develop your skills in supporting people with vulnerabilities and expand your experience and understanding of mental health. You will need to have a great degree of flexibility, as the service operates 24 hrs (this includes sleep in duties) all year around.
Together offers a very comprehensive training and development package and will support and encourage your progression during the time with us.
We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
