The event included Together and NIHCSS partnerships, including St Martins, CGL and Reed Wellbeing and our supported living landlords, St Martins, Broadland Council and Places for People.

Our service is run as a psychologically informed environment, considering the psychological and emotional needs of both our service users and staff.

As NIHCSS are the block provider for adult mental health support in Norfolk, this event was specifically targeted at Norfolk County Council Adult Mental Health Social Services staff to showcase all the available support through NIHCSS.

Staff from all NIHCSS Supported-living accommodation at Astley Cooper Place (Great Yarmouth & East community support), Boudicca Court (King’s Lynn & West community support), Bridewell Street (Wymondham – Autism support), Bakery Court (Norwich & North community support), Devonshire Place (Norwich & Central Norwich community support), Vanguard Court (Norwich & South community support) were on hand to speak with NCC staff.

We now have a total of 145 staff across all services in Norfolk.

NIHCSS is a recovery-based service, supporting people to live independently, make their own choices, connect with the community and encourage engagement in activities to facilitate recovery.

In our exhibition area, we were extremely fortunate to have a wealth of amazing artwork, crafts and poetry created by our clients who wrote openly about how art helps their mental health.

We would like to thank everyone for joining us to the day and for your continued contribution and passion to support anyone with mental health distress.
