Helpline Volunteers

“The training sessions were packed with interesting information … I still have much to learn and I’m sure that will never stop with this great, committed team.”
Siobhan, Helpline Volunteer
Many people get in touch with the Hub for the first time by calling the helpline. Finding the right support for your mental wellbeing can seem complicated and overwhelming – it’s our job to make the process simpler.
Our Helpline Volunteers support callers with a calm and friendly conversation about their situation. After listening carefully to what the caller may be going through, they take the time to explore options for further support. Thanks to our Helpline Volunteers, we can reach many people in the community and connect with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds.
