BBO (Building Better Opportunities) Women at the Centre is an individualised employability programme for hard-to-reach women. Set up to assist women from 16-65+ from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, the programme will take the participants through a structured journey of individualised, culturally sensitive and multi-lingual support.
Lambeth has the highest number of Black people accessing mental health services in the UK. Black Thrive was created to initiate the system change required to see Black residents thrive across the borough.
Peckham Befrienders are a Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) befriending service for people with mental health problems. The service is available to people who are currently using SLaM services.
