Look Ahead supports thousands of people across London and the South East with a diverse range of needs, helping them to make individual choices, achieve goals and take control of their own lives by providing tailor-made support, care and accommodation services. Look Ahead operate the Southwark Young People Floating Support Service.

Southwark Young People Floating Support Service offers support to young people aged 16-25, who live in or have a connection to Southwark. The service supports young people who are in need of support with issues such as housing, finance budgeting, managing physical and/or mental wellbeing, and much more. Look Ahead supports each customer as an individual, to take control of their support, achieve their goals and aspirations, and move towards a positive, independent future.

Look Ahead can provide support in a wide range of areas including: benefits and budgeting; managing your tenancy; education, training and employment support; parenting and childcare advice; in-house counselling activities and workshops.

Once referred, a young person will be contacted by Look Ahead’s staff to attend a Welcome Meeting. Then, if successfully accepted they will get to meet the team and choose support worker according to their individual needs.
