Three Cs stands for ‘Control and Choice in the Community’ for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges. They provide support for living in Lewisham, Southwark, Greenwich, Newham and Redbridge, through Community Support, Supported Living, and Social Inclusion and Day Services. They sell services to individuals on personal budgets or through direct payments. Three Cs’ approach is based on the social model of disability and the recovery model of mental health.
Three Cs offer three different types of support for living:
- Community Support – If you live on your own, with your family, a partner or someone who cares for you, you can buy support for living from the Community Support team.
- Supported Living – If you live on your own or share with others who are being supported to live independently, you can buy support from our Supported Living team.
- Social Inclusion – You can get support to volunteer or get and keep a job, to get involved in new activities, to meet people and make new friends.
Three Cs will also be running the Well Connected programme. This programme will provide activities that are friendly, and accessible for people experiencing mental distress, to gain confidence, learn new skills, socialise and build relationships with each other. For more information about the Well Connected Programme please contact Tom Acres, Community Connector at Three Cs on 0208 269 4340 or firstname.lastname@example.org
