At the Southwark Wellbeing Hub, we run a selection of events including Wellbeing Workshops. They are a safe space to engage in activities, learn new skills and connect with your community and are listed below.

Your Say

Our focus group meets once a month and is an opportunity for you to offer us feedback about the Hub and other mental health services in Southwark. Everyone who has used our service is invited and we’d love to see you there! Our next focus group is scheduled for Thursday 23 November at 1pm. Why Paper Storytelling

Join us for a very special papermaking workshop at the Camberwell College of Arts on Friday 27 October and Monday 30 October ONLY. This special workshop using sustainable silk fibres will be led by a wonderful local artist and requires no artistic experience. The workshop will run two times only so don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity. You can book one or both workshops! Connect for Wellbeing

Connect for Wellbeing brings people together from diverse backgrounds to share skills, coping strategies and creativity, and to hear each other’s unique experiences. It’s a setting where people can feel safe to be themselves and connect with others. The sessions are non-judgemental, light and informal.

Self-Management Group

Self-Management Group is our online and peer support led workshop. They will help you to develop a set of wellbeing tools and techniques. Share your own tips and experiences to provide learning to self-manage. Feel empowered and more in control to increase your confidence and improve relationships.

 

Gardening Wellbeing Workshop

Gardening Wellbeing Workshop in partnership with Surrey Docks Farm offers an introductory gardening themed workshop based around growing in urban environments. With a diverse mix of growing spaces across the farm, you can learn and experience the joys of gardening. All workshops will end in a question-and-answer session with relaxing and rejuvenating herbal teas harvested from the Herb garden at the farm. Wordsmiths

Wordsmiths – Writing for Wellbeing, this workshop is open to everyone with any level of creative writing experience. It is a hybrid workshop, offered online and in person simultaneously. Each session focuses on encouraging confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
