Peckham Befrienders
The Peckham Befrienders service is a Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) befriending service for people with mental health issues. The service is available to people who are currently receiving professional care within SLaM. The main objective is to increase the social networks of its service users. The group’s twice weekly drop-ins offer a space for service users to access, support and befriending, culturally appropriate meals and other activities such as: Indian head massages, support, talks and presentations.
