Expert advisers answer our helpline, this website is packed full of useful information and we offer training too. We also campaign to improve the lives of all single parent families. And because we’re a national charity, it’s all free.
We have 95 years’ experience of working with single parent families – from the days when our key campaigning activity was to reform the “bastardy laws”, right through to 2013, where single parents head up a quarter of British families but still face big challenges. Our vision is “a society in which single parent families are valued and where they (and their children) are treated equally and fairly”. We want you to join with us in making this vision a reality – whether by taking part in our campaigns, joining as a member, helping to fund our vital work or simply by learning more by looking around this site.
