Kings House provides compassionate support to individuals experiencing complex mental health issues, driven by an enthusiastic staff team dedicated to providing person centred care.
Support delivered is tailored to and developed with an individual encompassing all aspects of wellbeing including mental, physical, spiritual and daily living skills. Our goal is to increase independence and feelings of accomplishment whilst residing long term at Kings House or with the possibility of moving on to more independent living. The service is ran in collaboration with service users, encouraging feedback and involvement in all areas of decision making.
Kings House is a CQC registered accommodation service based in the quiet residential area of Westbourne, just a 10 minute walk from a blue flag beach. The towns of Bournemouth and Poole are a short bus ride away, with a selection of local shops just a walk away. A bus service runs along the next road over to Kings House providing easy access to local transport links.
The service accommodates 17 residents across a three story detached services with various shared facilities, some ensuite bedrooms and a studio apartment. The service is staffed 24 hours with two members of staff sleeping in overnight. As well as a large rear garden and surrounding patio, there is a garden lodge for art and mindfulness sessions. A self-catering kitchen is available for individuals looking to improve cooking skills and participate in catering activities.
