Community Support

People experiencing mental health issues often become isolated from their community and lack the confidence to deal with practical matters such as benefit letters, debt issues or steps towards employment. We provide a range of community based support to help people with things like maintaining a tenancy, finding and accessing specialist support in their community, building and strengthening social networks and finding employment.

Our model of personalised community support: Your Way, provides goal-focused, flexible support with an emphasis on ensuring that those using the service are in control of their support. A three-year evaluation of our Your Way services undertaken by the Mental Health Foundation found a significant link between Your Way support and improved wellbeing. We have a number of Your Way services across England. Visit the Your Way page to find one near you.

Our Warwickshire Floating Housing Related Support for Disabilities supports people with a range of disability needs who would benefit from short-term housing related support.

Our floating support service in Norfolk provides county-wide support to adults with mental health needs – including individuals with severe mental health problems and complex needs – to access and maintain accommodation.

Our Southwark Wellbeing Hub provides information and support for anyone in Southwark experiencing problems with their mental wellbeing. We take time to understand what people need and help them navigate local services, groups and activities so that they can find the right support.

Our St Helens community support service provides housing-related support to people experiencing severe mental distress.

Our West Hampshire housing and support service offers supported accommodation and community-based support to adults living with mental health issues in the West Hampshire area.
