The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Advocacy Together Hub Rochdale to welcome a new member to our dynamic, friendly and diverse team.

We have a vacancy for the role of a Statutory Advocate, which includes IMCA/IMHA/CAA roles that are framed within the Mental Capacity Act and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard Legislation, Mental Health Act, and the Care Act.

We expect the successful applicant will work across all areas of advocacy under the relevant legislative frameworks with a focus on Independent Mental Health Advocacy and have responsibility for being the IMHA on one of the Mental Health Wards.

The post holder will work from the Rochdale Hub Office, Castlemere Community Centre, Tweedale Street, OL11 1HH office for 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BAME backgrounds.
