Main Role Activities
Controlling and owning the management accounting month end process to ensure all journals are processed to timetable and have been reviewed.
Delivery of the month end & quarterly reports to operational staff to required standards and timelines.
Working closely with Head of Management Accounting to generate monthly management reports for the Director of Resources.
Working with operational staff, management accountants and Head of Management Accounting to ensure annual budgets are prepared and agreed to timetable and agreed formats.
Financial Management of two key areas, Norfolk Community Support project and the Criminal Justice Department working with key operational staff, managers and partners to ensure finances are understood and managed well.
Supporting the Head of Management Accounting in the preparation of budgets for tenders when required.
Ensuring all necessary information for statutory accounts and audit are provided accurately and to deadline.
Reviewing the management accounting process to recommend improvements and implementing any agreed changes.
Any other ad hoc projects as required.
Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE or qualified by experience
Good knowledge of SUN Accounting Systems
Knowledge and use of Q&A reporting
