Hours:

Varying

Location:

Tamworth, Lichfield and East Staffordsire

The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

Please note this is a Relief Worker vacancy, to cover times of staff shortages and high service need, therefore there are no fixed hours each week or guaranteed hours.

Your Way Workers provide One to One support to adults that are experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems, supporting people towards better wellbeing within the community.

The service operates across Tamworth, Lichfield & East Staffordshire so a car driver would be beneficial, people would be expected to be able to travel to all of these areas, sometimes at short notice.

The role of a Your Way Worker includes managing and coordinating your own workload to offer recovery focused support to people with things like; managing mental health, entering education, becoming work ready, increasing social networks, improving physical health and lifestyle and accessing training opportunities.

You will plan meetings to identify people’s goals completing assessments and risk management meeting, liaising with other professionals and making referrals.

Interviews will be held on 12th and 13th September

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BAME backgrounds.
