Relief Social Care Worker

£8.63 + £0.12 recruitment and retention allowance

Norfolk Road, S2 2SX

The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

Norfolk Road is an 11 bed registered accommodation service supporting people with severe and complex mental health needs.

The role is for a Zero Hours Worker who will support the service in providing cover for staff leave and the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their hours of work, including availability for sleep-in duties  and weekend work.

Relief Social Care Workers have a variety of responsibilities, including direct support with all aspects of daily living, administering medication, assessment and risk management and recording and reporting.

They will be part of a small, dynamic team, working alongside other Social care staff, supporting the recovery of individuals within the service.

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BAME backgrounds.
