Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.
York Road is a registered Forensic service for people with mental health and other complex needs. As a Relief project worker, you will be working alongside service users to encourage them to develop skills and enable them to positively manage their health and support needs. You will provide personalised support sessions for clients as well as running groups and doing individual activities with service users.
A confident, self-starter, you will be able to use your own initiative and have a demonstrable track record of working successfully with vulnerable people with complex needs. You should also have proven experience in support planning and positive risk taking.
We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BAME backgrounds.
