Hampshire West Housing & Support provide supported accommodation and community support in the areas of Eastleigh, Test Valley, Winchester and the New Forest. We are looking for a Recovery Worker to join our existing team in the New Forest; we are looking for a highly committed individual, who can demonstrate ability to relate and empathise with people with mental health problems, offer support around housing issues when needed, assess risk and manage their workload effectively.
You will be required to work independently, as well as part of a team and will need to have a degree of flexibility in your working pattern. A full and comprehensive training package will be tailored for you on completion of mandatory training and a successful probationary period. You will also have opportunities to develop specific skills in areas of expertise/interest and stretch your knowledge and working practices within the mental health field. As part of this role you will be expected to work early/ late shifts, weekends and some Bank Holidays.
