I am pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Bryant – Together’s Director of Criminal Justice Services – to the role of interim Chief Executive.
Linda will begin her new role on 30th March 2018, after Together’s outgoing Chief Executive Liz Felton steps down after more than 11 successful years.
It is expected that the interim Chief Executive position will last until the appointment of our new, permanent Chief Executive, the recruitment for which is already underway.
Linda is currently the Director of Criminal Justice Services at Together and has been a member of our senior management team for the last four years. She has been a dedicated member of staff at Together for 16 years, having joined the organisation as a frontline practitioner, and has a 25 year history of working in the voluntary and community sector overall.
During her time at Together, Linda has led the growth of our portfolio of criminal justice mental health services. Under her leadership, Together is now seen as an expert in the field of Liaison and Diversion and has become the leading provider of this service in the voluntary and community sector. Linda has also pioneered Together’s Pathways models of intensive intervention approaches for people with complex and multiple needs.
As a registered Forensic Psychologist, she has also brought her skills and expertise to support the wider organisation in working alongside our service users.
Linda is an enthusiastic and passionate voice for the work of Together, who will continue to advocate for service user involvement in everything we do as an organisation. I am delighted that she will be leading us through this time of transition.
Together’s Board of Trustees is now working to ensure a smooth and successful transition for the people who use our services, our staff, volunteers and other stakeholders, whilst the recruitment of our new, permanent Chief Executive progresses.
We greatly look forward to working with our new Chief Executive in the near future on Together’s continuing success and development.
