Jewish Association for the Mentally Ill (JAMI)
Jami was set up in 1989 by parents, relatives and friends of people who suffered from mental health problems. For those affected by mental health issues such as bipolar affective disorder, schizophrenia, depression and eating disorders, life can be extremely difficult. Often there is a breakdown of the home and family life, jobs are lost and the situation can spiral out of control.

A community-based group that provides recreational activities for people aged 55 and over, who are suffering from Dementia, Alzheimer's, anxiety or depression.
Macmillan: South East London Buddies
Macmillan's South East London Buddies provide one-to-one practical and emotional support for people affected by cancer. They are trained volunteers who can offer a listening ear or a helping hand to support you. Volunteers can visit people in their homes or meet in a public place within the South East London area.
Maintaining Health Partners
Maintaining Health Partners is a Southwark-based, not-for-profit cooperative of specialist therapists. They aim to improve the quality of life of people experiencing mental health difficulties and the wider community, and do so through an exciting combination of free holistic therapies, outreach and engagement.

Motability
The Motability scheme enables disabled people to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair using their government funded mobility allowance. Can also help with adaptations, Wheelchair accessible vehicles, Driving lessons for eligible 16 to 24 year olds and lots of relevant info on their website.
My Health My Way Ltd
My Health My Way is a support service to help you develop the confidence, knowledge and skills to tackle symptoms such as immobility, breathlessness, anxiety or daily pain. If you join the programme you will be given personalised support from a dedicated health coach who will guide you to take the steps that will make a difference to you.
National Deaf Adult Services
National Deaf Services provides a range of comprehensive mental health services for deaf adults, children and their families
NHS Health Checks
If you are aged between 40-75, you could be eligible for an NHS Health Check. Those found to be at risk of heart disease and related conditions may be referred on to our Health Improvement Hub for further support.
Occupational Therapy LBS
The occupational therapy service helps Southwark's disabled residents to live safely and independently in their own homes. They will help you or your career to work out ways to help overcome or cope with any difficulties.
Phases
PHASES is a South London-based charity and Social Enterprise. Our projects explore different ways in which construction and environmental work can improve not only our surroundings, but also the lives of our trainees.
PLUS Providence LINC United Services
PLUS is a registered charity which offers residential, respite, leisure and employment services for adults with learning disabilities in south east London. PLUS recognises and celebrates the uniqueness of every individual with a learning disability. Our work enables personal growth, encouraging each person’s voice to be clearly heard in decision-making and lifestyle choices. We aim to provide the standards of service and support which we would choose for ourselves or those close to us.
