Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma
Our centre leads the way in anxiety treatment in the United Kingdom, in both research and clinical treatment. We treat obsessive compulsive disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and social phobia. We work with people to free them from their anxiety disorder and to improve their quality of life.
Community Housing & Therapy (CHT)
Community Housing and Therapy (CHT) is a registered charity that runs therapeutic communities which help people who are experiencing severe mental ill health gain a foothold in the world by positioning themselves in relationship to the other and to language, and finding stabilisation in relation to the community rather than to their symptoms.

HFH Healthcare works in close partnership with NHS Continuing Care teams and Local Authorities in order to deliver the highest quality of care to individuals with highly complex health needs in the comfort and security of their own homes. Maudsley Hospital
South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust provides the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK. We also provide substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol.
Mental Health Review Tribunal Office (England)
The Mental Health Review Tribunal is an independent panel that can discharge you from the Mental Health Act. The tribunal hearings take place at the hospital. The tribunal has to decide if you fit the criteria for being under a section of the Mental Health Act or not.

Alongside related information, interactive tools and advice, myhealthlocker will empower you in the maagement of your care and help to improve wellbeing through instant access to your information.
PALS- Patient advice and liasion service
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) offers confidential advice, support and information on health-related matters. They provide a point of contact for patients, their families and their carers. You can find officers from PALS in your local hospital.
Rehab Online
Rehab Online is a directory of residential rehabilitation services for adult drug and/or alcohol misusers in England and Wales. It will give you information about these services, whether you are a member of the public, a professional or a service user.
SLaM Adult Personality Disorder Service (Southwark, Lewisham)
Intensive and structured psychological therapy, mainly focused around group work, for people, aged 18-65, with emotional and personality difficulties.
SLaM Assessment and Liaison Service (Guy’s Hospital)
Our aim is to ensure that mental illness expertise is available to people who require assessment, care and treatment. We offer inpatient and outpatient mental illness assessments by psychiatrists to people, aged 18-65. We also provide psychiatric assessments within Emergency Departments (ED) to determine if people need mental health care and treatment at the above hospitals.
SLaM Aubrey Lewis 1 Ward (Maudsley Hospital)
Inpatient assessment, treatment and care for people aged over 65 with acute mental illness or under 65 for people who have dementia.
SLaM Aubrey Lewis 2 Ward (Ruskin)
15-bed ward for women, aged 16-65, who have severe mental illness. We provide care for women who live in the London Borough of Southwark.
SLaM Aubrey Lewis 3 Ward (Maudsley Hospital)
Aubrey Lewis 3 (AL3) is a 19-bed ward at the Maudsley Hospital. We provide adult inpatient care and treatment for men, aged 16-65, who have severe mental illness.
SLaM Bridge House Ward (Female)
Bridge House is a and female acute ward situated in Lambeth Hospital. We provide care for people aged 18-65 with acute mental illness who live in Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Croydon.
SLaM Bridge House Ward (Male)
Bridge House is a male acute ward situated in Lambeth Hospital. We provide psychiatric treatment and care for people who require an inpatient stay due to mental illness.
SLaM Brook Ward (Bethlem Royal Hospital)
Brook Ward is a 15-bed, medium secure forensic unit in River House at Bethlem Royal Hospital. We provide treatment and care for men, aged 18-65, who have mental health problems and a history of offending, who are close to recovery and moving towards their independence.
SLaM Chaffinch Ward (Bethlem Royal Hospital)
Chaffinch Ward is a 19-bed low secure pre-discharge ward. We provide inpatient treatment and care for men, aged 18-65, who have mental health problems and a history of offending.
SLaM Chelsham House (Bethlem Royal Hospital)
Chelsham House is part of Bethlem Royal Hospital. We provide inpatient assessment, treatment and care for people aged over 65 with acute mental illness or under 65 for people who have dementia.
SLaM Early Intervention Unit (Lambeth Hospital)
The Early Intervention Unit is part of the Early Onset Service, which includes the crisis assessment and community teams.
We provide inpatient assessment, treatment and care for people, aged 16-35, who are experiencing psychosis for the first time.
SLaM Eileen Skellern 1 Ward and Place of Safety (Maudsley Hospital)
Eileen Skellern 1 (ES1) is an 8-bed psychiatric intensive care ward at the Maudsley Hospital. We provide secure psychiatric and intensive hospital care for people who have severe and ongoing mental illnesses whose behaviour makes them unsafe, either to themselves or others, and who cannot be treated in an open ward.
