Stroke Association
We provide high quality, up-to-date stroke information for stroke patients, their families and carers. Every year there are approximately 152,000 strokes in the UK. That's one stroke every three and a half minutes. Most people affected are over 65, but anyone can have a stroke, including children and even babies.
Stroke Care is an award winning registered charity based in Southwark, London. Its work focuses on prevention of strokes by working closely with other agencies to raise awareness in local communities, as well as rehabilitation services and support to improve the quality of life of those affected by stroke, and other related debilitating ill health.
Telecare and community alarms
Telecare can help older, disabled, and vulnerable people live independently, safely and securely at home, whilst providing reassurance for carers.
Thames Homecare
Thames Homecare provides all aspects of care at home and aims to enable independent living. This is carried out in the delivery of general support, monitoring of their welfare, personal care and domestic help.
The National Autistic society
The National Autistic Society is the leading UK charity for people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. We provide information, support and pioneering services, and campaign for a better world for people with autism. We currently support 100,000 people a year. We know we make a positive difference to their lives and we want to do the same for even more of the 700,000 people in the UK living with autism.

The Sanctuary Scheme
A Sanctuary Scheme is a multi-agency victim centred initiative which aims to enable households at risk of violence to remain safely in their own homes by installing a ‘Sanctuary’ in the home and through the provision of support to the household.

United Care are a home care agency dedicated to providing excellent home care services to vulnerable people in the community. They specialise in working with people on various schemes such as personal budgets or direct payments, voluntary/independent organisations fund, local authorities fund as well as privately funded referrals.
