Alternatives to Violence (AVP) Project

Alternatives to Violence (AVP) Project

AVP is for everyone who wants to handle conflict, deal with strong feelings like anger and fear, and build better relationships. For 20 years we have run friendly, low-cost workshops/courses that can really make a difference. Whether you face difficult situations in the family, on the street, in your workplace or somewhere else, AVP can help.

In an AVP workshop you and the other participants will explore the conflicts and relationships within your own lives.  The workshop will help you to understand and believe in yourself, communicate with others better, learn new skills to use in difficult situations, understand why conflict happens and re-connect with what matters most to you.

We work with people aged 18 or over, from all backgrounds and situations to handle conflict, deal with violence and build good relationships.
Through the website you can choose a workshop near you and book online, or contact us if you have questions.
