Youth Access

Youth Access is the national membership organisation for young people’s information, advice, counselling and support services (YIACS). YIACS provide a holistic response to young people’s social, emotional and mental health needs through a range of services provided ‘under one roof’, including social welfare advice, advocacy, counselling, health clinics, community education and personal support. Our members respond to over one million enquiries a year on a diverse range of issues, including homelessness, benefits, debt, mental health, sexual health and relationships. Youth Access provides the training, resources, research, campaigning and other infrastructure support to ensure high quality services, modelled on evidence-based approaches, exist to meet young people’s needs.

Youth Access members share a commitment to providing young people with good quality, free, impartial and confidential information, advice, counselling and/or other support.
