CMHA now provide a diverse range of services with the aim of serving Chinese people who suffer from mental health related issues and problems. We also provide support for their carers whom may not be familiar with all the nuances of traditional Chinese culture. Such is our growing scope of influence; we now operate at local, regional and nationals levels. As different people have a variety of needs, our services cater to all ages and social.

Support services and counselling for mental health problems, gambling addiction and depression within the Chinese community. The most common issues that can cause mental health problems of varying degrees amongst Chinese people and new migrants within the United Kingdom include the following:
Racism and prejudice
Dispersed settlement and isolation
Long and unlegislated working hours
Lack of English language skills
Unfair stereotypes
Inter-generational issues
