Brandon Library is based on Cooks Road. They offer groups and activities for both adults and children.

Children: weekly and monthly activities

  • Bookstart session- every Monday 2pm to 3.30pm (term time only)
  • Homework Help – every Monday 4pm to 7pm (term time only)
  • Southwark Play event – every Thursday 4pm to 7pm (term time only)
  • Chatterbooks – last Thursday of every month, 4.30pm to 5.30pm (ages 7 to 11)
  • Southwark Play event – every Friday, 12pm to 3pm (term time only)
  • Baby and Toddler session – every Friday, 11am to 12noon
  • Southwark Play event – every Saturday, 12pm to 5pm (term time only)
  • Chess Club – every Saturday, 11am to 12noon
  • Story Craft session – every Saturday, 1.30pm to 2.30pm

Adults: weekly and monthly activities

  • pensioners’ session – every Thursday, 2pm to 4pm (refreshments available)
  • free computer classes and learning in libraries

What else is on offer?

  • books, talking books and DVDs to borrow

  • 27 adult study spaces available
  • photocopying facilities
  • free internet access
  • free Wi-Fi

Anyone who would like to access the library. You do not need to live in Southwark.
