Cambridge House Youth Empowerment programme

Cambridge House is a charity and social action centre based in Southwark. Their youth empowerment programme offers long term support to young people aged 16-25. The programme runs term-time from September to July and is designed to be supplementary to other programmes, employment, education or training.

The Youth Empowerment programme consists of the following:

  • Weekly workshops/group sessions on Monday evenings, including topics such as: Identity and Perception, Communication Skills, Impulse and Behaviour Control, Conflict Management, Emotional Wellbeing, Employment (both entering and sustaining), Health and Nutrition, Sexual Health and Relationships, Money Management and Budgeting, Housing and Benefits Advice
  • Bespoke 1:1 support with Cambridge House’s Youth Coordinator and mentors
  • Use of Cambridge House resources, includingPCs and Desk Space, Housing Law Centre, Mental Health Advocacy Team

16 to 25 year olds who would like some support to acheive their potential, whether or not they are currently in work or education.
