About this service
The service offers support in the community for individuals who have an individual budget or are self funding. We offer a range of practical and emotional support that can help to improve as person’s wellbeing. Our aim is to support someone to lead an ordinary life and encourage them to achieve their goals.
What we can offer
Barnsley Mental Wellbeing Services can help individuals in the following areas:
- Help in the home
- Practical help
- Looking after themselves
- Getting out and about
- Making choices
- Finding new hobbies and interests.
We can offer volunteering and befriending opportunities within the project, too. Please contact Kim or Debbie on 01226 770895 or information about this.
We also have a drop-in centre, based at the YMCA, Blucher Street, Barnsley.
Opening times: Thursday 12-4 pm, Friday 1.30-4pm
