Together Our Space Gallery

Together Our Space | Dreaming of cake by Sandra RobinsonThe Together Our Space Gallery, based at our head office in London, has organised and hosted exhibitions of work by many artists on a wide range of themes relating to mental health and wellbeing.

Our Space Gallery aims to give artists with mental health issues a platform to showcase their work. We use the space to support organisations and individual artists who would not normally have the opportunity to display their work in a central London gallery.

Some exhibitions are linked closely to an area of Together’s work.  ‘Girls Behind Bars’ in 2010, for example, was timed to coincide with the fourth anniversary of the Corston Report on female offenders, and featured work from current and ex-women prisoners.

Current exhibition: Pandora’s Box – 27 April to 24 May

The works of female survivors of violence and abuse who have used art as a means of finding hope and those of women who have not necessarily experienced abuse themselves but have used their art to create awareness of the issue, feature in this collaboration between mental health charity Together and AVA (Against Violence & Abuse)  Read more.
