The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

We are currently looking to recruit a Relief Your Way Worker to help us provide a recovery-focused service. Working with people with complex needs, you will utilise elements of personalisation to improve engagement and promote positive outcomes and independence. This will involve risk assessments and producing both management and personalised recovery support plans, including identifying goals and aspirations and recording activities.

Your Way Workers play a key role within an innovative mental wellbeing service. The service provides a wide range of information and advice with the aim of supporting the individual to build on a range of skills, strengths and qualities to enable them to maintain their own mental health and wellbeing.

As well as being part of a team the role of the Your Way Worker involves autonomous, mobile working in the community coordinating their own workload, reporting on their activities as required.

The majority of a Your Way Worker’s time will be spent working alongside service users who are experiencing or recovering from mental health issues.

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.

Interviews dates are 14th & 15th February 2019.
