Relief Workers, York Road

Salary:

£11.26 + £0.99 geographical allowance per hour

Hours:

Varying

Location:

London Borough of Sutton

The Role

All of our complex needs projects are looking to recruit a pool of locum workers who can cover shifts when needed, often at short notice. There may also be some short-term contract work if the need arises. All of the projects provide 24-hour cover with staff working a rota  covering a range of shifts, including waking and sleeping nights.

Staff at the project will be working alongside service users to encourage them to develop skills and enable them to positively manage their health and support needs. You will provide personalised support sessions for clients as well as running groups and doing individual activities with service users.

A confident, self-starter, you will be able to use your own initiative and have a demonstrable track record of working successfully with vulnerable people with complex needs. You should also have proven experience in support planning and positive risk taking.

As this is a relief post, you will be working under a Zero Hours Agreement: you will be under no obligation to accept hours offered, nor are Together under any obligation to provide set hours per week.
