Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.
The role involves autonomous, mobile working in the community alongside our existing team. Relief Workers will be required to coordinate and maintain their own workload, reporting on their activity as required.
The majority of a Relief Your Way Worker’s time will be spent covering groups within the community in a variety of venues and offering one to one support to individuals who are experiencing or recovering from mental health issues.
As this is a relief post, you will be working under a Zero Hours Agreement: you are under no obligation to accept shifts offered to you, nor are Together under any obligation to provide set shifts per week.
We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
