Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.
An opportunity has become available for an individual to join our Community Link Worker (CLWs) service.
The CLW role extends the Liaison and Diversion process beyond criminal justice settings and into the community, where they support individuals to address their mental health, substance misuse, or social care needs. CLWs do this by helping individuals to identify, access and engage with services that can improve their wellbeing and break the cycle of repeat offending.
The candidate will be working closely with our Forensic Mental Health practitioners and other Liaison and Diversion professionals within the police custody suites or courts.
We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
