The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our current Winchester team in completing some practical maintenance and housekeeping duties in our supported accommodation services.  This role will complement the support that is offered to the individuals living in our services who experience challenges with their mental health on daily basis. You will be required to look after general household standards, complete some cleaning duties, complete some basic health and safety checks, and look after the gardens of the three main buildings and support with decorating and maintenance of any rooms/flats that become vacant.

You will have the support and guidance of an experienced and well-established team of people, but you will also be required to work under your own initiative.

The hours of work can be flexible and can be negotiated with the Project Manager. You will be based in Winchester.

You will receive regular supervision and any necessary training that might be needed for you to be successful in your role.

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
