Art and Conflict exhibition launched
Posted on 18, December 2008
For the first time ever, as part of this exhibition, armed forces veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other psychological injuries associated with service life, allowed work from their art therapy sessions to be displayed. The aim of this was to give the public a better understanding of how these mental health issues impact on their lives, and the lives of their loved ones.
This unique and extraordinary exhibition was devised by Claire Monger at Together, and was developed in conjunction with the arts team and clients at veterans’ mental health charity Combat Stress. Watch the video or view pictures from the exhibition on Flickr.
