Experts state that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem during their lives and it affects around 8 million people in the UK at any one time. A UK government report of 2009 states that over £80 billion a year is spent on mental health .
Together focuses on those in greatest need, who may have complex and recurring mental health problems and difficult life circumstances. It's estimated there are about 375,000 people in this category.
