New Exhibition to open in Our SpaceArt And Conflict Exhibition at Our space from the 2nd of December An exhibition of work created by veterans who are supported by Combat Stress, a charity that provides treatment for ex-military personnel who have psychological injuries associated with their service will open at Together’s Our Space gallery on 2 December 2008. Contributing veterans are from the British Army, Royal Navy, RAF, Merchant Navy and the Reserves. Many have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Lately at Together...Anne Beales on the Paul O'Grady Show Channel 4’s Paul O’Grady Show has chosen to tackle the topic with a number of features about mental health throughout its new series - and Together: Working for Wellbeing is one of the three charities chosen to be involved. On Tuesday 21th October, Anne Beales MBE, Together’s Director of Service User Involvement, who has used mental health services herself, was a guest on the show.
