| Together specialises in running independent advocacy services in secure mental health settings, in the community and in hospital. We currently provide advocacy services in a number of secure settings across England, including Rampton, Ashworth and Broadmoor Hospitals – all three of Britain’s high-security hospitals. Through our advocacy services we now support over 850 people.
We have adopted the proposed national standards for independent advocacy set out in the Durham Report (which are still out to consultation) as good practice and are already working to them in our services.
We are continually developing our advocacy work and have gained a national reputation for our work in this field, supporting people in what are very unusual settings to get their very ordinary needs met, and views heard.
This section of our website contains more information about all aspects of our advocacy services.
