1 Acceptance of terms
Your access to and use of www.together-uk.org ("the Website") is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.

The contents of the Website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision.

Together reserves the right to:
3.1 change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that www.together-uk.org shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal; and
3.2 change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.

The Website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.

5.1 All copyright, trade marks and all other intellectual property rights in the Website and its content (including without limitation the Website design, text, graphics and all software and source codes connected with the Website) are owned by or licensed to Together or otherwise used by Together as permitted by law.
5.2 In accessing the Website you agree that you will access the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder. This excludes the downloading, copying and/or printing of pages of the Website for personal, non-commercial home use only.

6.3 Together makes no warranty that the functionality of the Website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected or that the Website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or anything else which may be harmful or destructive.
6.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to exclude or limit the liability of Together for death or personal injury as a result of the negligence of Together or that of its employees or agents.
7 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Together and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against Together arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website.
8 Severance
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term or Condition shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
9 Governing law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Together is committed to protecting the privacy of www.together-uk.org users and the overall integrity of the Internet. To that end, we are disclosing here any issues related to privacy in the collection by Together of personally identifiable information from users of www.together-uk.org.
This policy has been developed to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and follows good practice guidelines from the Direct Marketing Association. It is updated, without notification, following advice published from time to time by the Information Commissioner.
We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of websites to which www.together-uk.org may link.
1 A summary of the measures we take:
· Information you provide to Together is not provided or sold to any other parties with the exception of donations to Together processed by CAF (see below).
· Information you provide on the website is used only for the purpose of replying to your enquiry or processing your job application, donation or membership application.
2 What personally identifiable information do we collect about you?
· Our job application form requires a name and email address. By ticking the Data Protection box on the form, you are giving us permission to process your data. We will do this confidentially.
· Donation forms managed by CAF and WorldPay on behalf of Together ask for a name, address and email address which we may use to send you further details of our work and activities, unless you tick the box stating that you do not wish to be contacted. We also require your card number, expiry date and the name on the card. The forms provide a secure transaction environment, which is indicated by a padlock in the corner or your browser.
· Our payroll giving form requires your name, address, home and work telephone numbers, email address, employer’s name and your employee number. This is a secure online form and the data is treated confidentially.
· Our Become a Member form asks for an email address. Applicants will receive regular updates on our work and activities. This is a secure online form and the data is treated confidentially.
· We use cookies to collect statistics on site visitors and to identify unique visits. These are not personally identifiable – see further details below.
3 What do we do with the information collected?
· We may perform statistical analyses of enquiries submitted via the website. This information is not disclosed to any other parties.
· We send members regular updates on our work and activities. If you wish to opt out of receiving such updates, please use the unsubscribe option included in all newsletters or contact us stating that you would prefer not to receive such mailings.
· Information is stored securely on our servers which are protected by a central firewall which monitors activity and hostile attacks. Our premises are protected by a monitored alarm which is linked directly to the Police.
4 What do we do with the information collected?
· We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to anyone outside of Together.
· We will provide subscribers with a summary of all personal information that we process on them upon request. We will charge £10 for such requests. To make a request, email liam-cole@together-uk.org and include the email address that you registered along with your organisation name. Personal information will be provided within 40 days.
5 Cookies
A cookie is a small file created by a website and then stored on your computer. You can control if and when you allow cookies to be stored on your machine, and can view or delete any cookies stored.
How does www.Together.co.uk use cookies?
· Cookies make it possible for us to better collect statistical information on visitors to our site, and in particular to identify repeat visitors. This statistical information informs our content development and marketing of the site.
· The cookie we create contains no personal details, only a unique identifying code that allows our system to identify repeat visitors to our system. We store this identifying cookie in addition to your computer or network’s IP address; the date and time you visited; the page you visited and if available the previous site or page that linked you to this page (for example a search engine).
· We cannot identify other websites you visit or what pages on those sites you visit other than that mentioned above. We cannot read personal information from your computer, or read information created in cookies from other websites. We cannot identify who each website visitor is, or gain any private information on each visitor.
